The Institute for Healthcare Advancement opened its door to the new Friends of Family Health Center, a full-service medical clinic for adults on Wednesday. The new medical clinic is situated in the same building as IHA’s Friends of Children Health Center, 501 South Idaho St.

Medical services provided at Friends of Family will be made available to adult patients on a sliding fee scale. The health center accepts most insurance programs, including Medical, Medicare and Medicare Advantage as well as most PPO and HMO plans.

Hours of operation for the health center will be Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The center will not turn anyone away based on their ability to pay.
