New BCBS Call Center Open In Huntsville Alabama
Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama has opened its new call center in Huntsville. There are currently 70 employees, and they plan on hiring more.
“We still plan on having growth,” said President and CEO G. Phillip Pope. “We have tremendous growth opportunity in this facility.”
Pope said the call center will eventually create 200 new jobs.
More than three thousand customer service calls will soon be handled at the new location on a daily basis. The call center serves customers in Alabama and nationwide.
