Prime Health Services And St. Thomas Health Services Renew Contract

Prime Health Services (Prime Health), a national Preferred Provider Organization (PPO), is proud to announce a renewed commitment to servicing the needs of the workers’ compensation payor community in the Middle-Tennessee market with St. Thomas Health Services. Prime Health Services contract entails working with St. Thomas Health Services and their family of hospitals in Middle Tennessee (which include St. Thomas Medical Center, Baptist Hospital, Middle Tennessee Medical Center and Hickman Community Hospital).

St. Thomas Health Services has renewed their agreement to participate in the Prime Health Services PPO Network. Part of this new commitment is a doubling of the savings offered to employers’ and the payer community when treating workers’ compensation patients. This increased savings, coupled with excellent quality care, aids in returning the injured workers to their jobs in the timeliest manner.

“Prime Health Services is proud of our many years of being able to offer the St. Thomas Health Services locations in our PPO Network,” said Dorrence Stovall, Vice President of Provider Relations. “By renewing this relationship they are making a commitment to the employers and the payor community in Middle Tennessee that their locations want to be seen as the predominant facilities to be used for efficiently treating the injured worker.”
